Breast Augmentation

Recovery from a breast lift may take a month or more, during which time patients may experience temporary numbness or tingling as nerves in the breasts return to normal. Patients will experience some bruising, discomfort, and swelling for the first few weeks after surgery, but these symptoms will fade as they recover. A specialized surgical bra or compression garment will be required during recovery. Sutures are usually removed after a week or two, at which point most patients will be able to return to work.
