How VASER® Liposuction Works

The VASER® ultrasonic liposuction system relies on ultrasonic energy – high-frequency sound waves above the range of human hearing – to emulsify fat in the area being treated. After administering a saline solution to the targeted area, Dr. Winslow applies the ultrasonic energy to liquefy the fat and mix it with the saline. This makes the fat easier to remove with less damage to the surrounding blood vessels and tissue.
